    • Monitor the pool deck and surrounding areas to ensure a safe environment for all members and guests.
    • Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Water Rescue and Emergency Response
    • Respond to emergencies and rescue swimmers in distress.
    • Administer first aid and provide medical assistance as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
    • Answer questions and provide information about pool rules, safety procedures, and other related topics.
  • Pool Maintenance and Cleaning
    • Help maintain a clean and safe pool environment.
    • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team.

Requirements

  • Education and Certifications
    • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Lifeguard and First Aid Certified.
  • Physical Abilities
    • Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
    • Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
    • Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
    • Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
  • Preferred Requirements
    • 6 months of customer service experience.
