Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Huntington Park, California.

Job Summary:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders by evaluating, diagnosing, developing, and implementing therapy/treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy/treatment programs to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to adults and children with a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide in-service training to healthcare staff and supervise the development and treatment of Speech Pathology Assistants.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of speech therapy by attending professional seminars and workshops.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One (1) year clinical experience in Speech Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
