Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer will act as the principal executive of TPF, overseeing fundraising efforts, grant acquisition, leadership, management, and the strategic vision of the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to community engagement, exceptional management capabilities, and a proven ability to thrive in innovative environments. This position demands a forward-thinking leader who can effectively launch and manage our meal program, while also supervising clothing assistance and musical events, and enhancing the organization's public profile.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Formulate and implement the organization's strategic framework to fulfill its mission and objectives.

Provide visionary leadership to ensure coherence with the organization's values and aims.

Assess and modify strategies to meet evolving community needs and opportunities.

Program Management:

Supervise the clothing assistance program, offering support to coordinators as necessary.

Guide the musical events initiative.

Oversee the funding and operation of the meal program.

Fundraising and Development:

Direct fundraising campaigns to secure financial contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.

Design and execute strategies for donor engagement and retention.

Manage grant writing and reporting to secure and oversee funding.

Lead the establishment of TPF's meal program.

Financial Oversight:

Collaborate with the treasurer to develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring fiscal health and sustainability.

Monitor financial performance and implement necessary adjustments.

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and organizational policies.

Staff and Volunteer Leadership:

Foster a robust volunteer network and ensure effective volunteer management.

Recruit, train, and oversee staff members, promoting a positive and productive workplace.

Establish and implement policies and procedures to enhance staff and volunteer effectiveness.

Community Engagement and Advocacy:

Represent the organization at community gatherings, public events, and media engagements.

Build and sustain relationships with community leaders, partners, and stakeholders.

Advocate for the needs of the populations served and promote the organization's mission.

Administrative Management:

Ensure the organization operates in compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Implement effective systems for program evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, social services, or a related field.

Demonstrated success in fundraising and grant management.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of individuals and stakeholders.

Commitment to community service and dedication to the mission of TPF.

Experience in managing diverse programs, including food services, clothing distribution, and event planning, is highly desirable.

Work Conditions:

This is a full-time position with occasional evenings and weekends required for events and community activities.

Flexible hours are available.

Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000 including benefits.

Four weeks of paid vacation annually.
