Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at First Solar. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the procurement of materials and goods to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of material requirements to ensure timely delivery of goods to our manufacturing sites.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues and optimize inventory levels.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with experience in Oracle preferred.
