Job Summary
Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to support our mental health programs at the West Valley Detention Center. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our leadership team, promoting a positive workplace culture, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR expertise and support to our leadership team, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive workplace culture, improve employee engagement, and enhance retention.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring that our organization is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with corporate HR, recruiting, legal, and payroll professionals to ensure seamless integration of HR functions.
- Participate in investigations, risk management, and corporate compliance activities.
Requirements
- At least five years of human resources experience, including most of the responsibilities listed above.
- Knowledge of California employment law.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of HR information systems (ideally UKG).
- Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week at the West Valley Detention Center.
What We Offer
- Starting salary range of $93,000.
- 240 hours (30 days) of annual paid time off for vacation, holidays, sick, and personal leave.
