Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate and distribute weekly update reports to relevant internal departments. Document any remediation strategies for addressing outstanding issues.
Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of International Sales to devise, plan, and implement sales strategies tailored for the UK market. You will also manage workflows and timelines for entering new markets. Your efforts will focus on driving retail promotional initiatives, analyzing sales and business metrics, and achieving profitability targets while optimizing operational efficiencies and identifying additional sales opportunities.
Relationship Management:
Maintain robust relationships with external partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure the successful achievement of target objectives.
Sales Planning & Inventory Oversight:
Engage with retailer buying and planning teams to forecast inventory requirements for new product launches, manage basic replenishment levels, and oversee stock levels. Communicate all pertinent information regarding launch dates, pricing, allocations, and out-of-stock statuses to retailers. Assist in managing and updating buy sheets to gather new launch forecasts from each retailer, and track orders to ensure accurate forecasting.
Project Coordination:
Work in tandem with the Senior Director of International Sales to comprehend all departmental projects and deliverables. Maintain a timeline of activities to efficiently meet launch deadlines for the brand in new markets.
Marketing & Merchandising Collaboration:
Stay informed about seasonal fixture updates as executed by the Merchandising Department, assisting in the development of assortment templates for retailers. Communicate gondola update dates, assortment files, and planograms to retailers. Collaborate with the internal Marketing team to create retailer calendars and work with the Director to strategically schedule promotional activities aimed at driving year-over-year growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate Account Management role within the Beauty or Consumer Products sector. Prior experience in project coordination is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-focused, possessing excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills. Strong analytical abilities and a creative mindset are crucial, along with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. A flexible and adaptable approach to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment is essential.
