Firefighter Volunteer

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our volunteer fire department as firefighter reservists. As a volunteer firefighter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our career staff in providing emergency operations and support functions.

• Participate in emergency responses and operations
• Assist in training and equipment maintenance
• Support community events and outreach initiatives

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a medical exam and background investigation
• Must commit to volunteering a minimum of 16 hours per month

• Personal protective equipment and uniforms provided
• Free training and certification opportunities
• Supplemental retirement program through the North Carolina Firemen's and Rescue Squad Pension Fund
