We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our fire and rescue team as volunteer firefighters. As a volunteer firefighter, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency operations and support functions to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in emergency operations and support functions
- Assist career employees in providing fire and rescue services
- Volunteer a minimum of 16 hours per month (4 hours includes training)
- Town-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms
- Free training opportunities
- Receipt of incentive payments upon reaching and maintaining eligibility
- Supplemental Retirement Program through North Carolina Firemen's and Rescue Squad Pension Fund
