Engineering Design Consultant for Transportation and Infrastructure

STV is seeking a skilled Engineering Design Consultant to join our Transportation & Infrastructure division in South Carolina. As a Civil Engineering Specialist / Hydraulics Designer, you will be responsible for designing transportation improvement projects, including storm drains, culverts, storm water management, green stormwater facilities, and erosion and sediment control. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Water Resources and Storm Water Design Engineering. Responsibilities include using hydrologic and hydraulic software, such as Geopak Drainage, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS modeling, and CADD and mapping software, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, and ESRI ArcGIS. Additionally, the candidate will need to submit NPDES permit requirements of municipalities and other government entities. Experience in North Carolina transportation is desirable due to the unique nature of Erosion/Sediment Control and Stormwater Management permitting. The successful candidate will participate in project development meetings with client teams, provide professional design services, and achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget.
