Job Title: Professional Development Training Manager

We are seeking an experienced Professional Development Training Manager to join our team at SourcePro Search, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our law firm delivers high-quality training and professional coaching opportunities for attorneys and Business Services Group (BSG) members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Training Curricula: Design, develop, and implement training curricula and ad-hoc training programs for attorneys and BSG members to meet the ever-changing needs of our law firm.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with key stakeholders to identify firm-wide and practice-specific training needs, and develop training programs to meet those needs.
  • Partner with Faculty: Identify and partner with internal and external faculty to deliver high-quality training programs through our Firm's University.
  • Evaluate Training Programs: Assess training programs to ensure they are having the desired impact, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee Onboarding Program: Oversee the training-based aspects of our annual Fall Associate onboarding program.
  • Communicate Training Opportunities: Develop creative ways to communicate training opportunities to target audiences to generate interest and participation.
  • Manage Training Budget: Manage the PD budget with guidance and input from the Director and others.
  • Supervise CLE Specialist: Supervise the CLE Specialist with respect to work on training-based initiatives.
  • Plan and Evaluate Training Events: Plan, implement, and evaluate associate/counsel off-site training events.
  • Produce Reports: Produce reports to help firm leadership understand how the firm is meeting training-based objectives.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay current on best practices and innovations with respect to adult learning, both within and outside the legal industry.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a law firm environment, with a minimum of 4 years of responsibility for maintaining, developing, and implementing law firm training curricula for attorneys.
  • Education: 4-year college degree required.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent emotional intelligence skills, ability to effectively manage time and multiple tight deadlines, experience in data management, proficiency with MS Office, demonstrated strong project management skills, and ability to represent oneself professionally as a representative of the firm.
