Buckner Retirement Services Community is seeking a Senior Living Program Coordinator to deliver exceptional service to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in implementing programs that meet or exceed Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Regularly survey and interview residents to determine their interests, talents, and satisfaction with community programs and activities.
- Develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
- Provide individualized attention to each resident to encourage their physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
- Assist in developing and coordinating activities and programs, including games, reading, listening, and community involvement.
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including providing assistance with communication, technology, and activities.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in wellness, fitness, or recreational therapy in senior living is preferred.
- Knowledge of residents' rights and ability to ensure a safe, secure environment.
- Ability to organize activities and work with other departments to implement programs.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
