Senior Living Program Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly survey and interview residents to determine their interests, talents, and satisfaction with community programs and activities.
  • Develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Provide individualized attention to each resident to encourage their physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating activities and programs, including games, reading, listening, and community involvement.
  • Attend to the individual needs of residents, including providing assistance with communication, technology, and activities.
Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in wellness, fitness, or recreational therapy in senior living is preferred.
  • Knowledge of residents' rights and ability to ensure a safe, secure environment.
  • Ability to organize activities and work with other departments to implement programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
