About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Waterfall Community Health Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose occupational therapy needs for children and families, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to children and families, including assessments, interventions, and education on adaptive techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for children and families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, healthcare providers, and social service agencies, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Unrestricted Oregon Occupational Therapy License and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a pediatric setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and excellent customer service.
