Medical Director of Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director of Primary Care to lead our team at Central City Concern's Old Town Clinic in Portland, Oregon. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting strategic direction, mentoring clinical staff, and collaborating with senior leaders to drive excellence in primary care services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor primary care clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve primary care services
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong community partnerships to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Board certification as an advanced practice provider
- Minimum four years of experience in providing care as a medical provider for underserved individuals in a community clinic setting
- Minimum two years of experience in established leadership capacity within a healthcare setting
- Preferred: addictions medicine certification, Spanish language proficiency, or willingness to develop these skills
- Must have full prescriptive powers in Oregon with a DEA number
