Role Summary:
In the role of Marketing Strategist, you will be tasked with formulating and implementing marketing strategies that align with our organizational objectives. You will collaborate closely with the company founder, receiving direct mentorship and guidance. Additionally, you will work alongside a diverse group of specialized contractors and internal team members, engaging directly with clients to comprehend their needs and deliver customized marketing solutions. Your proficiency in project management, coordination with contractors and team members, client interaction, and execution of marketing initiatives will be crucial for your success in this position.

Key Duties:

  • Strategic Development: Create a detailed marketing strategy that aligns with the company's growth goals, emphasizing brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Client Relations: Act as the main liaison for clients, fostering and maintaining robust relationships. Understand client requirements, offer strategic marketing insights, and ensure the delivery of exceptional work.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee and manage the efforts of both contractors and internal team members, ensuring timely completion of video production, content development, website design, and other marketing materials.
  • Digital Strategy: Lead and implement digital marketing initiatives, including META advertising (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics, HubSpot, and experience with email marketing tools. Collaborate with specialists as necessary and manage the overarching strategy.
  • Content Development: Direct content creation activities, partnering with content producers and designers to generate high-quality materials such as website content, blog entries, social media updates, and promotional assets.
  • Brand Oversight: Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all channels. Develop and uphold brand guidelines to maintain brand integrity.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to gain insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics. Utilize these findings to inform marketing strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Design, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the effectiveness of all marketing activities. Use data to inform decisions and optimize efforts for improved outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the company founder to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives and priorities. Collaborate with contractors and internal team members to ensure projects are executed effectively and meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a comprehensive understanding of various marketing fields.
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience overseeing contractors or external teams.
  • Hands-on digital marketing expertise, including META advertising (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics, HubSpot, and familiarity with email marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with back-end website management, Shopify, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Extensive experience in social media management, beyond simple post scheduling—must be skilled in managing engagement, understanding brand voice, and creating meaningful connections with audiences.
  • Willingness to immerse yourself in our clients' brands, managing engagement by truly understanding their unique narratives and needs.
  • Basic video editing skills, with a willingness to edit videos on various platforms; not a core requirement but a valuable skill given the available resources.
  • Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with innovative brands on exciting projects.
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is a plus, though not essential.
