The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects of various complexities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring project delivery meets or surpasses client expectations.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business ventures.
  • Crafting detailed project scopes and proposals, and engaging in project interviews.
  • Allocating resources effectively to fulfill project requirements.
  • Maintaining positive client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Independently assessing and applying standard techniques and criteria for technical tasks and analyses, with ongoing team collaboration.
  • Preparing comprehensive plans, specifications, and engineer's estimates (PS&E).
  • Reviewing field reports generated by specialists.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to both office and field personnel.
  • Organizing field operations and delegating tasks to specialists.
  • Compiling and evaluating complex data, integrating assessments from team members.
  • Offering technical mentorship to project teams.
  • Reviewing engineering outputs completed by peers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Possession of a Nevada Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain reciprocity within the first six months of employment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 18-20 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Experience in civil engineering and project management related to transportation and utility projects.
  • Background in marketing, proposal writing, and business development.
  • Familiarity with regulatory agencies and federally/state funded projects.

Salary Range:

$110,000 to $125,000 annually
