Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate projects to fulfill client expectations.
  • Identify and pursue new business ventures.
  • Draft project scopes and proposals, and engage in project presentations.
  • Manage resource allocation for project completion.
  • Maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures independently, with ongoing team collaboration.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and engineer's estimates (PS&E).
  • Review field reports generated by team specialists.
  • Guide both office and field personnel.
  • Organize fieldwork and delegate tasks to specialists.
  • Compile and assess complex data, integrating evaluations from team members.
  • Provide technical mentorship to project teams.
  • Review engineering outputs completed by others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Possession of a Nevada Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility for reciprocity within the first six months of employment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 18-20 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Experience in civil engineering and project management, particularly in transportation and utility projects.
  • Familiarity with marketing, proposal writing, and business development.
  • Experience with regulatory agencies and federally/state funded projects.

Salary Range:

$110,000 to $125,000 annually
