Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing projects to fulfill or surpass client expectations.
  • Identifying and pursuing potential business opportunities.
  • Drafting project scopes and proposals, and engaging in project discussions.
  • Coordinating resource allocation for project completion.
  • Maintaining positive client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Independently assessing and applying standard methodologies and criteria for technical tasks, field operations, studies, and analyses, with ongoing team collaboration.
  • Preparing and generating plans, specifications, and engineer's estimates (PS&E).
  • Reviewing field reports produced by specialists.
  • Providing guidance to both office and field personnel.
  • Organizing fieldwork and delegating tasks to specialists.
  • Compiling, reviewing, and analyzing complex data, integrating evaluations from specialists.
  • Offering technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
  • Reviewing engineering outputs completed by others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Possession of a Nevada Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility for reciprocity within the first six months of employment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 18-20 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Experience in civil engineering and project management related to transportation and utility projects.
  • Familiarity with marketing, proposal writing, and business development.
  • Experience with regulatory agencies, including federally/state funded projects and relevant documentation.

Salary Range:

$110,000 to $125,000 annually

Compensation and Benefits:
