Job Overview

This role is essential for the creation of high-quality medical devices within a dedicated manufacturing environment.

Under direct supervision, the individual may engage in various tasks including assembly, repair, and testing of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and associated medical device components.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing routine tasks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and current job documentation for all operations.
  • Effectively communicating ideas, challenges, and solutions to all levels of management in both written and verbal formats.
  • Upholding a positive demeanor when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and utilizing necessary safety equipment during all tasks.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and meet quality and profitability standards.
  • Keeping precise records to ensure traceability of all components and address quality concerns promptly.
  • Demonstrating a foundational understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborating with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to establish and track individual goals and performance metrics aimed at improving operational quality.
  • Supporting divisional initiatives as directed by management in alignment with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory standards.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency in using electronic data collection systems and relevant software.
  • Prioritizing tasks based on their importance and sequence.
  • Handling small components with precision.
  • Making informed decisions with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
