Job Summary

This role is essential for the fabrication of premium medical devices within a dedicated manufacturing environment.

Under direct supervision, the incumbent may engage in a variety of tasks including assembly, repair, and testing of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and associated medical device components.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing routine tasks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensuring that all relevant documentation for operational processes is precise and current.
  • Effectively communicating issues, ideas, and solutions to all levels of management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining a constructive demeanor when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate safety equipment during all tasks.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency and meeting quality standards.
  • Keeping accurate records to ensure traceability of parts and address quality concerns to uphold product integrity.
  • Demonstrating a foundational understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborating with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to establish and track individual objectives and performance metrics that strive for operational excellence.
  • Supporting divisional initiatives as outlined by management, in alignment with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory standards.
  • Possessing the ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, as well as comprehend verbal directives.
  • Utilizing electronic data collection systems and software effectively.
  • Prioritizing tasks based on their significance and urgency.
  • Handling and manipulating small components with precision.
  • Making informed decisions and judgments with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
