Job Title: Relationship Payment Manager

At PayPal, we're revolutionizing commerce globally, creating innovative experiences that make moving money, selling, and shopping simple, personalized, and secure. We're seeking a high-energy and innovative professional to join our Global Acquiring & Processing Partnership team, responsible for leading commercial strategy and relationships with financial institutions providing payment processing capabilities for PayPal Inc across all verticals and multiple regions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day business support to key Payment Partnership Relationship globally, maintaining oversight of operational and commercial activities as they relate to our acquiring and/or processing partners.
  • Identify, own & manage issues or/and opportunities related to our acquiring and/or processing activities.
  • Gather inputs internally and externally and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (including risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury) on creation and execution of partner strategy.
  • Develop and execute programs/projects with our global partners to further PayPal's strategic goals and overall positioning in key verticals and markets.
  • Quarterback engagements with our largest partners to ensure we are presenting a clear and cohesive offering to our stakeholders.
  • Maintain a pulse on the financial health of the processing business - highlight the key metrics we should be looking at, call out relevant trends for us to get ahead on.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years experience working within the payments industry, ideally in a fast-moving and e-commerce orientated company.
  • Deep conceptual payment processing knowledge and key technologies employed in e-commerce flow.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience building + managing relationships with external partners, suppliers, vendors.
  • Effective and self-sufficient with the ability to operate comfortably and independently within a complex global environment.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Finance.
  • MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
