About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team at Manulife and John Hancock. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and other key stakeholders in the Chicago Metro area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth and retention.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with advisors and plan sponsors to develop and implement business plans that meet their needs and goals.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact our business.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with advisors, plan sponsors, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Life insurance and variable licenses, as well as industry designations such as AIF, APA, APR, ChFC, CLU, CEBS, CFA, CFP, QKA, QPA, QPFC, RIA.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
