The Role of a Utility Player
We seek sharp and innovative Utility Players to join our Cedar Park/Round Rock offices. These roles are ideal for Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses who embody our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience. Utility Players are versatile clinicians who handle a wide range of responsibilities, including front desk and reception duties, back-office care, triage, radiology, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage patients efficiently and communicate with providers to ensure seamless care.
- Document and summarize visits in our Electronic Medical Records system, providing accurate and detailed information.
- Assist providers with procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks, such as medication administration and lab sample collection.
- Provide patient education and address follow-up questions, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of our clinics.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
- Recent experience (within the last 3 years) in a Pediatric Office, Pediatric Hospital, or Urgent Care setting, with a minimum of 6 months of experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, NCMA, RMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a valid Texas license.
- BLS certification required, with online renewals accepted from the American Heart Association.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA regulations, basic clinical procedures, CLIA-Waived Testing, and EMR software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
