About the Role

The Team Lead is a key position within our organization, responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional member experiences. This leader will advocate, nurture, and guide their team to promote and deliver on our Member Engagement Manifesto.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Create a culture of excellence and set high standards for team performance.
  • Team Development: Nurture and advocate for team members, ensuring optimal performance through coaching and development.
  • Member Experience: Ensure consistent and engaging member experience is delivered and aligned with our purpose, values, and manifesto.
  • Performance Management: Prepare branch formal performance evaluations and ensure they are enacted with direct reports.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in branch operations.
  • Goal Achievement: Achieve goals by pulling weekly reports, assisting with reporting, and motivating team members.
  • Leadership: Lead direct reports and provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching as required.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve member conflicts and escalate situations when appropriate.
  • Communication: Maintain continual communication with the team by holding one on one's and team meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in a retail or service environment and/or related experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience and a passion for leadership, performance management, and team member development.
  • Technical Skills: User of eservices products.
  • Soft Skills: Proven ability leading people through change and driving innovation by building a circle of safety.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to effectively problem solve and resolve conflict.
  • Adaptability: Ability to embrace ambiguity and manage change.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
  • Background Check: Ability to successfully complete the MLO background check process to obtain NMLS.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
