Lead Technical Service Specialist

The Technical Service Lead plays a pivotal role in the Technical Service team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers of SoundOff Signal.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, managing workloads effectively.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to address and resolve complex product issues.
- Exemplify SoundOff Signal's Core Values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Address and resolve escalated technical inquiries related to aftermarket vehicle products, including lights and sirens.
- Oversee team scheduling to ensure adequate staffing for daily operations.
- Facilitate comprehensive onboarding and training for new hires.
- Conduct interviews and provide feedback on employee performance to the Technical Service Manager.
- Deliver immediate coaching to Electronic Technicians as needed.
- Engage directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with SoundOff Signal products.
- Coordinate warranty claims and manage the return and replacement of parts.
- Offer constructive feedback and suggestions for product enhancements.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality in fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma required; technical education preferred.
- Team-oriented with a positive and helpful demeanor.
- Understanding of Automotive Electronics and basic knowledge of CAN bus and Multiplex systems.
- Preferred experience in automotive electronics installation.
- Relevant certifications such as MECP or EVT are advantageous.
- Customer service experience is essential.
- Familiarity with SalesForce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Windows PC and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems for app support.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform various physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in both office and light manufacturing environments.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Flexible with working hours, including potential remote work opportunities.
Salary range: $29 - $34 per hour, commensurate with experience.
