Your Role

Embark on a fulfilling career as a Quality Assurance and Assembly Specialist at Royal Technologies. This pivotal role is essential for our operational success, ensuring that only the highest quality products reach our customers. The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including quality inspection, material handling, and scheduling. We seek a detail-oriented individual with a strong affinity for processes and systems. This role is based at our facility and supports the third shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of finished products, including dimension checks and quality assessments.
  • Manage the supply of raw materials and the removal of finished goods to prevent operational downtime.
  • Organize and prioritize work within the department to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and labels for each workstation, ensuring accurate tracking of products.
  • Identify and escalate any non-conformance issues related to quality or scheduling.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of shop floor operations and collaborate with supervisors to implement necessary adjustments.
  • Document reasons for downtime and communicate concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Assist in work center changeovers and manage pull requests effectively.
  • Support team members by covering their stations during breaks.
  • Operate a hi-lo as required; training will be provided if necessary.

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet production rates independently.
  • Proficient in completing required production documentation.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting issues and shortages.
  • Professional interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with scanners.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and explain processes.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
  • Dexterity for operating hand scanners and performing tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
  • Compliance with safety regulations, including wearing approved safety glasses.
