Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Allocate tasks to front-end and service desk associates during slower periods as specified in the Service Leader Assignment Sheets.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as directed by management.
  • Uphold safety standards and report any necessary repairs or maintenance issues. Ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Monitor customer interactions and report any unusual behavior to management or security.
  • Secure cash drawers when unattended and protect company assets diligently.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Regularly perform cashier and bagging duties as needed.
  • Occasionally perform service desk functions and bookkeeping tasks if trained.
  • Carry out any other assigned responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to fulfill specific job functions.
  • Willingness to learn various tasks and technical aspects of the role.
  • Proven capability to execute cashier and service desk responsibilities.

Training Requirements:
For Service Desk/Kiosk Stores:
Completion of Cashier/Service Associate and Service Desk/Kiosk training.
For Non-Service Desk/Kiosk Stores:
Completion of Cashier training.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions while standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to push or pull weights up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions as necessary.
  • Ability to gather and transport multiple shopping carts as required.
  • Competence in handling various cleaning and packaging materials.
  • Adequate visual acuity to verify identification and process transactions.
Preferred Skills:
  • Foster customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop effective work schedules for associates to optimize service and minimize customer wait times.
  • Manage cash handling and change orders as needed.
  • Verify customer identification and adhere to store policies regarding transactions.
  • Facilitate smooth refund processes for customers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Supervise front-end and service desk associates as directed by management.
  • Treat all team members with respect and provide constructive feedback as necessary.
  • Must meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations.
