About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Surgical Prep Area Unit team at NorthBay Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing your expertise in medical-surgical nursing to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients assigned to your unit.
  • Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and their families, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote, maintain, and restore health.
  • Provide skilled registered nursing care to surgical patients, including arrhythmia interpretation and modification of care to meet the special needs of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, utilizing strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
  • Current, valid RN license by the State of California.
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with a focus on medical-surgical nursing.
