Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northbay Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Surgical Prep Area Unit, utilizing the principles of Jean Watson's Theory of Caring and the Northbay's professional nursing practice model.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients assigned to your care
  • Develop and maintain a therapeutic professional relationship with patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote, maintain, and restore health for patients
  • Apply the Northbay Way principles of Caring, Communication, Collaboration, and Competence in daily practice
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher required (excludes grandfathered employees)
  • Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS required
  • Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment
  • Minimum of 2 years required (5 years preferred) in an acute care setting, Medical-surgical nursing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competent in providing skilled registered nursing care to surgical patients
  • Skilled in arrhythmia interpretation
  • Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Salary Range: Min $ Max $87.53 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)

15% differential available to external and internal applicants with Per Diem status

Plus, Generous Shift Differentials

Night Differential: $9.80 per hour, Evening Differential: $6.60 per hour
