The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is in search of a Grants Management Specialist to become a vital part of the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology. This role is focused on the administration of post-award processes for sponsored research initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations while effectively managing financial resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all post-award activities
- Supervise the budgeting and financial management of research initiatives
- Keep updated on compliance regulations and institutional protocols
- Assist in preparing documentation for external funding agencies
- Handle multiple research projects concurrently
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
