Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Budget and Award Management to join our team at the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the cost component of proposal and grant application development, pre-award, post-award processes, and ongoing budget monitoring for funded awards within the Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the cost component of proposal and grant application development, pre-award, post-award processes, and ongoing budget monitoring for funded awards within the Center.
  • Document and disseminate sponsor award terms and conditions, develop cost proposal development funding resources, prepare cost proposals and grant applications, manage proposal development process, including quality assurance, develop and modify budgets for continuing programs as per sponsor requirements, develop award management training materials and templates, train field program teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on award and budget management.
  • Post-award activities include guidance and oversight on issues related to the fiscal, administrative, and regulatory management of grants, contracts, and sub-award management from award receipt through closeout.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Administration or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in costing and award management.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing U.S. Government Federal awards.
  • Experience working with public health and research teams.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Compliance-oriented.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Willingness and availability to travel internationally and domestically.
