Responsibilities- Original and Copy Cataloging: Perform original and copy cataloging tasks to add new materials to our collection and maintain the accuracy of existing records.
- Call Number Assignment: Assign call numbers to materials to facilitate easy location and retrieval.
- Barcode and RFID Tagging: Assign barcodes and RFID tags to materials to enable efficient check-out and tracking.
- MARC Record Management: Add and maintain MARC records for digital resources to ensure accurate representation in our catalog.
- Library Materials Processing: Coordinate the processing of library materials, including receiving, cataloging, and shelving.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong cataloging skills: Experience with original and copy cataloging, including MARC record creation and maintenance.
