Position Overview

The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the onboarding journey for new employees within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with external candidates, internal staff, hiring managers, and the Human Resources department.
  • Administer the pre-employment onboarding procedures across multiple states within the operational geography.
  • Manage and organize all new hire drug screening, background checks, and fingerprinting requirements across various locations.
  • Ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation, including offer letters and other essential paperwork.
  • Maintain and update candidate and employee tracking reports consistently.
  • Act as the primary liaison with candidate screening and pre-employment service providers.
  • Support newly hired employees in completing onboarding tasks and pre-employment requirements.
  • Create and manage candidate profiles within the applicant tracking system.
  • Monitor candidate progress closely to facilitate a smooth selection process.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team by providing updates to Hiring Managers regarding recruitment status.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all candidate and employee information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources or a similar fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage several projects with limited lead time.
