About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Coordinator II to join our team at Dungarvin. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, and other challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a range of services, including individual finances, activities, program services, and health care/nutrition.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and maintain consistency in programming, individual care, and communication with staff and support team members.
  • Carry out the responsibilities and duties of the behavioral support staff during all direct care shifts.
Requirements
  • Three years' experience in delivery of significant behavioral health services.
  • A minimum of one-year of lead staff experience in residential services or a two-year degree in a related field.
  • Ability to understand and implement behavior support plans, treatment plans, functional assessments, individualized support plans, and person-centered plans.
  • Must be able to demonstrate de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, positive support methods, and person-centered approach with individuals who may present significant mental health symptoms, physical and verbal aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury, and cognitive impairments.
