Job Title: Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their homes and schools, working closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians orders for each individual patient. This includes observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, reporting changes in condition to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment
  • Execute physicians prescribed plan of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Patient assessments
  • Coordination of care
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
