The Role

We're seeking a Payer Operations Manager to play a critical role in achieving our mission. This role will support the expansion of our model into additional markets and deepen relationships in our existing markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in payer relations, payer operations, credentialing, and contracting, and be passionate about our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Payer Contracting: lead the organization and optimization of existing contracts, and work with leadership and vendors to secure and implement new contracts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and organized payer status information is incorporated into all Allara care flows.
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight to our payer enrollment team.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with existing and new payer partners.
  • Audit Allara contracts to identify opportunities for growth in contract renegotiations.
  • Collaborate with other Allara departments to identify opportunities for process improvement in contract implementation and develop SOPs to remain compliant with multiple payer requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience with payer sales, payer operations, payer contracting, and provider credentialing.
  • Prior experience at a national payer is a plus.
  • Experience operationalizing company strategy at a high level, but willingness to dig into the weeds when needed.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a proven ability to create partnerships and ensure their ongoing growth and success.
