Multifamily Property Manager

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Community Manager position would have experience in managing/leasing multifamily properties, be self-motivated and self-directed, and have the ability to become a team leader. This individual would also be able to communicate effectively via both verbal and written communication skills, be safety conscious, and have the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Marketing and Leasing:
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to maintain and increase occupancy for the property.
- Respond to prospective resident inquiries, show apartments, and follow up with leads to close prospects.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and resident feedback to inform marketing decisions.
- Lease Administration:
- Process lease applications, conduct screening and reference checks, and ensure accuracy and completeness of all lease files.
- Conduct move-in inspections, review welcome packets, and input resident relations data.
- Prepare and process resident service requests, assist with resident issues and complaints, and maintain a positive resident experience.
- Accounting and Reporting:
- Collect, record, and deposit daily rental payments, application fees, administrative fees, and security deposits.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports, including occupancy rates, revenue, and expenses.
- Monitor and maintain accurate financial records, including resident accounts and property expenses.
- High School Diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
- Two years of related business experience, preferably in multifamily property management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with property management software.
