Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to oversee the development and management of essential financial planning systems that are vital to our operations and reporting.

In this position, you will create and sustain models that encompass allocations, financial forecasts, and actual reporting, while also supporting initiatives aimed at centralizing forecasting methodologies across the finance department.

Your role will also involve acting as the primary support and authority on our planning tools, offering guidance to team members, and executing solutions that enhance and streamline our business processes, thereby delivering value to the organization.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, information systems, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or reporting
  • Proven understanding of financial planning and analysis processes and best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, IBM Planning Analytics - TM1, SAP Analytics Cloud, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar applications
  • Proficient in SAP, Hana, and SQL
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to leverage your understanding of financial planning processes to shape tool application strategies and vision.
  • Work alongside the broader business and IT teams to centralize forecasting processes.
  • Employ comprehensive systems thinking to design, document, and implement solutions within the application to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Provide detailed, domain-specific analysis of technical challenges, researching and recommending alternative solutions for issue resolution.
  • Assist end users with production challenges and promote self-sufficiency in the application.
  • Partner with IT to facilitate system integrations and offer ongoing business support.
  • Promote tool adoption by leading educational sessions and training for end users.
