About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Albertsons Companies. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance, reporting, and analytical support to our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly reports for the National Accounting Service Center (NASC) and reconcile variances and discrepancies in payments versus receivables.
  • Develop and prepare performance tracking reports, analyze key performance indicators, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Drive a data-driven analytical process to identify variances from actual trends and planned/forecasted results, create actionable steps to course-correct, and prepare presentations.
  • Manage and leverage Access and SQL databases, design, develop, and administer enhancements, and source data from primary/secondary data sources.
  • Build financial models, business intelligence, and dashboards, and evaluate complex financial analysis of strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, following through on issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field, with an MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, finance, accounting, or related fields, with pharmacy, PBM, or retail company experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with and through others to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to present complex issues in a simple, succinct manner.
