Job Title: Director of Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team at Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans to achieve company goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; 6-years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 4-years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
  • Relevant certifications in Engineering (e.g. Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, etc.).
  • Proven track record of success in managing and directing hotel maintenance projects.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
