Job Summary

The Director of Accreditation and Assessment will provide strategic support in program planning and review processes, continuous improvement, and accreditation activities for the College of Education at the University of Kentucky. This role will serve as the primary liaison for accreditation and assessment, working closely with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and report on outcome-based assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement accreditation and assessment strategies to ensure compliance with national accrediting bodies
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and implement outcome-based assessments
  • Analyze data and maintain records of accreditation and assessment efforts
  • Provide leadership and support for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison with accreditation agencies and other external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in education or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of managerial experience
  • Working knowledge of accreditation and assessment principles and practices
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with accreditation agencies
  • Knowledge of Airtable, Hana/Tableau
