Position Summary:
As a vital member of our logistics team, you will play a key role in managing the flow of goods through our facility.

  • Verification and Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing details against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
  • Quality Control: Inspect outgoing shipments to confirm they meet specified requirements.
  • Shipping Method Determination: Utilize your knowledge of shipping protocols, routes, and pricing to select the most efficient shipping methods.
  • Physical Handling: Regularly lift and move heavy packages, typically weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Labeling: Properly affix shipping labels on packages or use stenciling tools to mark shipping information.
  • Material Movement: Operate hand-trucks and pallet jacks to transport shipments, and may involve forklift operation.
  • Delivery and Pickup: Drive vehicles to deliver and collect parts as necessary.
  • Assembly Tasks: Perform light assembly of components for shipping, including preparing hardware kits.
  • Container Preparation: Assemble or select appropriate containers for shipping items.
  • Protection of Goods: Use spacers, fillers, and protective materials to secure items within containers.
  • Crate Assembly: Construct wooden crates and secure them using metal strapping.
