Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Estimator to join our team at GPAC. The successful candidate will report to the Estimator and work closely with the estimating team to provide accurate and timely estimates for heavy civil projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings to gather project information and discuss project requirements
- Take off quantities from project plans and specifications
- Contact subcontractors to gather pricing and availability information
- Coordinate minority solicitation and request bid bonds as necessary
- Finalize bid proposals and submit to clients
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in take-off and estimating for heavy civil projects
- Proficiency in Agtek, AutoCAD, and HCSS software
- Ability to analyze plans, boring reports, and specifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $65K - $80K
- Full benefits package, including 401K with up to 4% match
