Job Title: Structural Steel Estimator

At Enser Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating a wide range of fabrication work from structural steel, simple bridge, heavy structural, and related structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting of job requirements and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborating with shop personnel and shop foreman in job management through completion
  • Managing projects with material needs, equipment, and personnel hours
  • Continuing to follow Safety and Quality guidelines
  • Managing PO's and change orders through project completion
  • Meeting with customers and vendors to review jobs and establish RFI's as required
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Steel industry
  • Ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of TEKLA, BlueBeam, and similar SW packages
  • 5 or more years of knowledge in procurement of materials and coordination of quotes from vendors
  • Computer Proficiency is required, including Microsoft Office (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Estimating
  • Experience with Take-off software
