Executive Sous Chef Opportunity at Marriott Anchorage Downtown

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Marriott Anchorage Downtown. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the food production process to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Train and develop sous chefs and other kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior chef or sous chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a team of kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
