About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chest Pain Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of quality STEMI and stroke care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all services and systems required for the care of STEMI and stroke patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide education, training, and community outreach.
  • Develop and facilitate program protocols, collect and report data, and analyze data for improvements.
  • Obtain and maintain Chest Pain Center Accreditation and Stroke Accreditation through The Joint Commission.
Requirements
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment.
  • Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
