About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the region. As a Mother Baby Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to new mothers and their babies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to new mothers and their babies, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
  • NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
  • Basic Fetal Monitoring upon hire within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
