Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team in the Surgical Care Unit at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated patient care services under the clinical direction of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Participate in patient education and support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and employment background check.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification required.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
