Patient Care Specialist

At Porter Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team in the Oncology Unit. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services.
Responsibilities:- Deliver patient care services in accordance with your skills and training
- Work under the clinical direction of a registered nurse (RN)
- Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and other clinical tasks
- Participate in patient education and support
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
- Successful completion of a drug screen and employment background check
