Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical and neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify learning needs, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a neuroscience or medical-surgical setting.
