We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Program Manager to join our team at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic initiatives of our infant, toddler, and young pre-school programs.
Key Responsibilities- Program Oversight: Monitor the health and safety of children, staff, and families, ensuring that each child's social and emotional developmental needs are met.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and assist with the scheduling of staff, oversee curriculum and classroom decisions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Communication: Maintain timely communication with senior leadership, staff, community members, and families.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor staff to build high-performing, engaged teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, or social work.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in early childhood programs, leading teams.
- Skills: Self-starter, detail-oriented, service-oriented, excellent relation and customer service skills, early childhood management experience.
